With that in mind, we don't plan on looking back and we have a nice route ahead of us that ends at the heart of the game development industry. Our community was a supportive concept that sprung from the idea of our development team and our gaming team. The initial staff and I discussed things we looked for in web sites; specifically, video game communities. Some things we loved included good forms of communication, team management, competitions, reviews, and helpful tips or strategies for specific game play. Things we hated included paying money for generic services or having division among account holders (silver versus gold), excessively harsh limitations on what can or can't be done, and clunky display models that made navigation more trouble than it was worth. Taking all of that into mind, we created a simple concept for our site and built up from there. Then we got to where we are now. The key elements to our community are user involvement, meaning if you have an idea, we want to hear it; continuous enhancements, even if you can't see them visually, we plan to update our site to constantly make it better; and overall quality, this is in both customer service as well as the development work we do.
