Our Story... Our Future
EvilEye Games became an official company May 9th of 2007. It doesn't really have some twisted or crazy beginnings, though it does have a deep history within its gaming team. In the 2002-2003 time era, Xbox Live was booming. The release of the well-known competitive Halo 2 was a prime game to meet a lot of really cool people. Early in my gaming career, I met a handful of guys that all seemed to see eye-to-eye with me and each other; so, we decided to create a gaming team (a clan on Halo 2). We went through a series of 3 teams before landing a great combination of minds, skills, and personalities.
That team lasted for a long time. Shortly before the launch of the Xbox 360, a select few members and myself discussed a grand scheme for the ultimate gaming team in our opinions. Long story short, I took those plans and started into web development to get our team a website. Well, like most projects, they tend to have a snowball effect and turn into something much larger than what was originally thought up. That's where we are now - Tons of services, access to anyone interested. In fact, the clan - now called DarkEye Gaming Clan - has become a mere side act of the community.
While plenty more could be said, the point is already clear. The final thing in question is the future. I'm on route to become a game developer, a programmer essentially, and that is where our future lies. We want EvilEye Games to become a professional level game development studio. We already have the foundation in place and do practice work with mock projects, but there is still a long way to go until then. Thank you for reading.
